We care for patients with all types of eye infections, injuries, eyelid disorders, allergies, glaucoma and most eye conditions. We provide diabetic retinal evaluations, cataract assessment and post-op care, refractive surgery evaluations and post-op, evaluations for medications that could affect vision such as Plaquenil. We diagnose all types of eye conditions such as macular degeneration. We are also familiar with area subspecialty and surgical care when the need arises and can help you make an informed decision about your options.
The Digital Retinal Imaging System allows us to capture high quality images of the retina and other structures inside the eye. This information assists the doctor in the early detection and diagnosis of many vision disorders such as glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, retinal detachments and many other vision threatening conditions.
Images of the retina can be stored and compared as time goes by, indicating even the slightest change in eye health.
The doctor will evaluate the health of the eyes and eyelids, examine for signs of disease and provide expert vision correction to help you see your best.
Medications may be prescribed, as well as eyeglasses or contact lenses. It is important to follow the doctor's instructions for treatment to speed the healing process and prevent complications. The doctor may also discuss specific lens options, contact lens programs or surgical treatments.
